The search function in RiTA allows you to quickly locate specific contacts within your database. If you cannot find a contact through a standard search, it is usually due to data synchronisation or permission settings.
Searching for a contact
To search for a contact in RiTA:
Why can't I find a contact
If a search returns no results, it could be due to one of the following reasons:
Data synchronisation
Changes made in your CRM like adding a new contact or updating a contact category typically take up to 48 hours to synchronise with RiTA. If the contact was added to your CRM recently, you might need to wait until the synchronisation is complete to view the contact in RiTA.
If no new data has synchronised for more than 48 hours, verify your CRM connection status and if you need to reconnect your CRM, please reach out to Customer Care.
Contact ownership and permissions
RiTA automatically maps your CRM contact ownership permissions during the import process. To grant users in RiTA access to these contacts, you need to ensure they are configured with the correct Mandatory Filters.
If you have access to a contact in your CRM but are unable to view it in RiTA, contact your account administrator and request that they check your Mandatory Filters setting within the User Management section.
