- Related CRM Properties: If a contact has related properties in your CRM, RiTA will recognise them as the owner.
- Residential Address: If no properties are associated with the contact, RiTA will use their residential address to determine ownership.
- Exclusions: RiTA will not associated the property with a contact that has a tenant or a past tenant tag in your CRM.
- Verified Owner: The contact has been confirmed as the current owner by by Cotality/CoreLogic or another RiTA user.
- Unverified Owner: RiTA was unable to confirm the ownership with 100% accuracy. The data may be out of date or requires manual verification.
- Confirmed Past Owner: It's been confirmed that the contact is not the current owner. This status is set either by Cotality/CoreLogic or another RiTA user.
- Next to the ownership status, select Is Current Owner or Mark as Past Owner.
- RiTA will update the relationship with your name as the confirmation source. The status will change to Verified Owner or Past Owner.
- Click +Add in the Property section of the contact.
- In the search bar, enter the street address and select the correct address from the suggested results.
- Click Save. RiTA will add this property to the contact and mark them as the current owner.
- Click Mark as Past Owner if the contact is no longer the owner of the property. RiTA will update the ownership status to Past Owner.
- Click Remove Ownership to completely remove the property. If you do this, the property will no longer apear in the contact's ownership history.

Note: Property updates made in RiTA do not automatically sync back to your CRM. RiTA will instead add a note against the contact record in your CRM as a reminder for you to manually update the information there. Understanding property ownership rules and statuses
Note: Property ownership data is available for properties in NSW, QLD and WA.
When you integrate RiTA with your CRM, property ownership information is imported with your contacts. RiTA uses a multi-step process to determine who a current owner is.
Properties in RiTA will have one of three ownership statuses:
Updating property ownership status
You can update a contaact's property ownership status directly from a contact card.
Note: If you have a Cotality/CoreLogic RP Data subscription, RiTA can automatically verify property ownership information for you. You can also click View in CoreLogic to see more details about a property in a new window. You'll need to be logged in to RP Data account to view the information.
