- This will show up on all subsequent replies RiTA sends out during 2-way automated SMS conversations during automations.
- It will not be included on the first message of a 2-way automated SMS conversation.
- Suggested phrases you may consider using instead of 'reply Stop to opt out' are:
- To stop receiving messages from us, reply “STOP"
- If you'd prefer not to hear from us, just reply 'Stop'
- Prefer not to hear from us? Reply 'Stop'

Before setting up automated sign-offs, it is important to understand your SPAM compliance responsibilities. For more information, visit our helpdesk article here.
Automated sign-offs help you maintain consistency across your SMS and email automations. In RiTA, you can configure two levels of sign-offs: Account and User.
Administrators can configure both Account Sign-Offs and User Sign-offs. Account Sign-Offs are applicable to all users within an agency. Users can only manage their own sign-offs.
We recommend that administrators configure the Account Sign-off first, as individual user signatures may use merge fields that rely on the Account Sign-off being set up correctly.
The main benefit of using merge fields in automated sign-offs is that if you ever change your business name or agency contact number in your Account Sign-off, any automation with those fields will update automatically across all your communication. Learn more about merge fields in RiTA.
This guide explains how to set up both Account and User sign-offs.
Click on Admin and choose Account Signatures. Here you will see settings for three types of signatures: SMS, Automated Conversation SMS Replies, and Email.

Click on the search for a merge field box, select the merge field you want to use to copy it, then paste it into the selected sign off box. This applies whether you are working on SMS, Automated Conversation SMS Replies or Email signatures.
If you authorise the sending of the message on behalf of an agency, you need to clearly and accurately identify your agency and include correct contact details for your agency. It should be clear that the contact details can be used to contact your agency. For example, where sending on behalf of your agency, you can use the RiTA template sign offs below:
SMS
