- contact information: first name, last name, mobile phone number etc.
- property information: property address, suburb name, etc.
- office or agent information: office name, agent's name, etc.
- Use the checkboxes to select the type of content you're drafting.
- Draft your message.
- Type the Merge Field you want to use in the search box.
- Select the relevant Merge Field eg. First Name. The selected Merge Field will be copied automically.
- Go back to your message draft and right click > paste or press Ctrl + V on your keyboard to paste the selected Merge Field in place.
- Once you have finished creating your template, click Save.
Merge Fields let you include dynamic content in your Action Templates, enabling personalised and relevant communication with clients, and consistency in your internal notes.

Using Merge Fields
Merge Fields are typically used when customising a message to include:
For example, for a contact named 'Joe Bloggs', an email message template that incorporates Merge Fields would look like this:
"Hi {{{contact.firstName}}} {{{contact.lastName}}}, how are you today?"
The message that Joe Bloggs will receive will read:
"Hi Joe Bloggs, how are you today?"
Tip: The data used in Merge Fields are synced with your CRM. It is important that your CRM data is up to date to ensure the final content in the message is accurate.
Inserting Merge Fields in your message
You will encounter Merge Fields when setting up templated content and messages in an action template.
When drafting your message, think about what part of your message requires personalised or dynamic content and apply the relevant Merge Fields.
