Confidence Indicator: The Confidence Indicator is a reflection of the amount of data we have on the property and similar properties in the surrounding areas. Generally, the more data we have for the local real estate market and subject property, the higher the Confidence Indicator level will be. Learn more about the Confidence Indicator

Equity: The difference between a property's value and remaining loan balance.

Usable Equity: The equity a lender will typically allow a homeowner to borrow against. This is calculated at 80% Loan-to-Value Ratio (LVR) as it is the prevailing industry standard for avoiding Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI). This is not customisable.

Renovation Cost Estimate: These are estimates based on our industry data partners and our internal models, localised to the property's region where possible. They are guides, not quotes.

Investment: The deposit calculation is based on the median property value for the specified suburb based on data available to Cotality.
The Equity Calculator Report provides an estimate of a property's equity and usable equity. It also suggests opportunities for using the equity eg. renovation or property investment.
This report is available to Pro package subscribers.
