The name of the list.
A description of the issue.
The property address for market activity lists (e.g. the property that was just sold by a competitor).
- An example of contacts that were incorrectly included or excluded.
If your call list has not generated as expected, it is usually due to restrictive filters, scheduling settings, or a lack of new market data.
Note
We recommend working with your RiTA administrator to ensure the changes are appropriate for your account.
Check your contact count
The first step in troubleshooting is to determine if RiTA can find contacts that match your current settings.
Go to Call Lists and click Manage on your chosen list. Or, if you are checking a scheduled call list, go to My Favourite Lists and click on the desired Call List to edit the settings if it does not appear on the main page.

In the Contact Filters settings, click Refresh to see the total number of eligible contacts.

If the count is zero: Your filters could be too restrictive. Review and adjust your filters accordingly.
Common filter and frequency issues
Use the table below to identify why your contact count might be lower than expected.
| Setting | What it means | Recommended Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Last Activity/ Engagement Filter | You have already spoken to these contacts recently. | Reduce the "Last Engagement" timeframe or wait for contacts to cycle back into the list. |
| Conflicting Filters | Your filters are too specific (e.g., searching for a category that no contacts belong to). | Remove or edit filters one by one and click Refresh at each step to find the conflict. Do not save the list until you have resolved the filter issues. |
| Just listed/Just sold lists | The Call List requires a "Just Sold" or "Just Listed" event that may not have happened or has not yet been processed by RiTA. | The list will remain empty or not visible until new market activity is identified and processed by RiTA in the area you have specified as your Core Market. (Only admins can view and update Core Markets in Admin settings) |
Check your list size
If RiTA shows matching contacts but no list has been generated for the day, check the list size settings. If your contacts per list is set to a larger number (e.g. 10 contacts a day) compared to your available contact pool (e.g. total contactable pool of 45), you may go through all the contacts faster than they can return to the list).
