Historical ownership of a property
There are three sets of historical information associated with a property:
Historical information about a property includes changes to a property such as when it has been subdivided or when a property title has been merged.
To include historical information in your search results, tick the Include historical properties checkbox on the home page.

The label Historical will be displayed against search results with historical information. In the example below, 22 Mashobra Street historically had a single title. It was then subdivided into 2 separate lots and assigned the address of 22 Mashobra Street for Lot 1, and 24 Mashobra Street for Lot 2.

Historical information about a property includes previous sales of
the property.
Select Sales to see recent
and previous sales. Next, use the Custom Date range to set the date
range you are researching.

Click View Full Sale History to open the property details page and see the list of historical sales.
Image 4: View sale history.
Scroll down to the Property History panel on a property detail page. The property owner’s name is displayed against each sale record. Click on the View sale history link to view additional information like purchaser name and settlement date.
Note: Owner and purchaser names are only available in states and territories where name search is available.

To view RPD information or lot numbers for a property, scroll down to the Additional Information panel and select the Legal Description tab
