Measuring an area using the dimension tool

You may use the Dimension tool to 

• check the size of an area after scaling 
• measure the size of an area on your plan.

To use the Dimension tool:

1. Open the plan you are working on and ensure that you are on the Home tab
2. Click on Dimension
3. Click on the area you want to measure on your planImage 2: Using the dimension tool.
