Scaling a plan in Planswift

There are two ways to scale a plan in Planswift:

• scaling automatically using a preset scale
• scaling manually using measurements from your plan

Tip: After scaling a plan, it's important to check that the sizes on the plan are accurate. Refer to the Planswift tutorial video (forward to timecode 3:53) to see how to check sizes with the Dimension tool or read this article for a quick overview.

Scaling automatically

Open the plan you are working on then;

1. check that you are on the Home tab
2. click on the down arrow on the Scale icon
3. scroll down to view and select metric scale ratios

Scaling manually

Open the plan you are working on then;

1. check that you are on the Home tab
2. click on the Scale icon
3. you'll need to enter a height and width from your plan. Refer to the Planswift tutorial video (forward to timecode 3:06) for a step-by-step process.
4. click Ok to proceed
