You may also write and save notes on any discussions or decisions made between parties or maintain any correspondence between the principal, subcontracts, builder, and proprietor.
Notes can be saved against each estimate and you may include dates and any other detail necessary for maintaining correspondence before, during, or after the construction period.
To make a note, click on the Note icon for the estimate you wish to make notes on. A new tab will open on your browser.

Type your notes in the space provided and click Add Notes to save and close the tab.

To view your saved note, click on the note icon again.
Adding quantities in a note
You may copy and paste a table that you have created in excel or exported from Planswift. To paste a table or any information that you have copied, click in the space and press ‘Ctrl V’ on your keyboard.

Adding images in a note
You may add images to the notes to better describe the jobs which are included in the estimate.
In the notes tab, click on Insert and select Images.

Click on the upload icon to select and upload an image from your computer. You may only add one image at a time. If you wish, you change the image width and height (in pixels) by entering the preferred values. By default the lock icon will be locked to indicate a fixed image ratio. Click on the lock icon to release the ratio if you require more flexibility for your image. Click Save to proceed.

Your image will be displayed in the main note editor. Continue typing your note and once you are done, click Add Notes to save your note and close the note tab.

Adding purchase orders in a note
You may also include a purchase order in a note for quick and easy reference. To do this, click on Insert and select Insert templates.

Next, click on the drop down menu, select Purchase order and click Save to proceed.

You may then proceed to fill in the template or paste information from a Planswift excel file.
