You have the ability to control your profit margin by adding charges on the estimate page.
Tip: Charges typically include builders' profit, overheads and contingency charges etc.
Click on the dropdown menu to view and select from an available list of charges. You may add these overheads as a dollar value or as a percentage.
Tip: When choosing a quote report, selecting 'charges within' will calculate all charges and distribute the subtotal amount into every line item on the estimate. If you do not want a specific charge to be calculated and distributed within the estimate line items, tick the checkbox to show it as a separate line item.
Variations: You must create a separate estimate as a type variation (not standard estimate but variation type) and when choosing from the dropdown, select the variation to add to the estimate.
Round Up Total: GST is added automatically to the total at the bottom of the page. You also have the option of rounding up the total amount by ticking on the Round Total Up checkbox. The total (including GST) is the one marked in blue.
