- Cancel the existing pending list.
- Update and Save your new automation settings.
- Manually regenerate the list within the automation.
- Click on Scheduled to view upcoming scheduled automations. If you have a long list of automations scheduled, use the Filter to quickly find the automation you want to work with.

- Skip Duration: When you skip a contact, the contact will be excluded for the set period of time and will be included in the pool of contacts again when the period ends.
- Places to skip: Choose whether you are excluding the contact only from this specific automation, all automations or all lists within RiTA.

For whom: You can also specify whether this exclusion applies only to yourself or another team member.

- Click Confirm to apply the updated settings.
- Click on Scheduled to view upcoming scheduled automations. If you have a long list of automations scheduled, use the Filter to quickly find the automation you want to work with.

Depending on your permission settings, you can either manually approve each list or allow RiTA to send messages automatically at a scheduled time.
If you have chosen the Manual: Require Approval option in your list automation settings, you’ll get an email letting you know there’s a review pending. This is when you can check the lists and skip any contacts you want to exclude from the automation.
It is important to understand that when RiTA generates a list for the day, it takes a "snapshot" of your current automation settings.
If you make changes to the automation settings (such as filters or templates) at this stage, it will not apply to the current list. These changes will only apply to new lists created after the update.

If you have a list waiting for review and you decide to change your automation settings, you must follow these steps to apply those changes to today's send:
However if you have selected the Automatic: Send at a Time option, RiTA will send the automation at the scheduled time.

Once you have identified the automation you want to cancel, click on Cancel to cancel the automation.
Note: This will only cancel the automation in this instance. If you want to cancel an automation permanently, you have update the automation settings. You will have access to update automation settings if you are an admin or advanced user.
