What is a Group Session
Everyone knows that you need to make the calls and the outbound activity in order to clean data, prospect effectively and nurture relationships.
What you typically discover for yourself is that sometimes committing to a time to focus on making these calls and doing the work can be hard with everything else you need to do.
Some days can be harder than others, and often, you may find yourself doing other work instead of picking up the phone.
Sometimes, holding yourself accountable can be challenging if you aren't noticing you're not focusing.
Sometimes, you may need to make some tougher calls, like cold-calling contacts not spoken to in years.
Sometimes, it's just easier to do the work if you're not doing it in isolation.
We've listened to you, we empathise with you, and that's why we've built a little something special in RiTA called Group Sessions.
A Group Session is a peer-powered call session, where you block out dedicated time to make calls and work through your RiTA lists, whilst also competing in friendly competition with other RiTA Users - some of which may not be from your agency!
Group Sessions are available in RiTA from the navigation bar on the left on your desktop:
Where can I access a Group Session
When you access Group Sessions, you'll first see a list of all the Group Sessions that you have access to:
Group Sessions will be displayed with the next closest Group Session first, and any finished sessions last.
Any Group Sessions you have registered for will be highlighted in blue - so check these first!
How do I sign up for a Group Session
1. Each Group Session will describe what to expect within that Group Session, so, simply click on the session to view more details about it, or click the 'Register' button to quickly register for that session.
2. If you wish to know more about the session, you can click on the session to view the session details, register for the session, and join the webinar for that session (if available).
RiTA will also send you an email letting you know you've registered for the session - don't forget to add it into your calendar
What do I do during a Session
1. The first thing to do during a Group Session is to check if there is a webinar available, and if so, join that webinar.
If you join a webinar, listen to what the webinar host has to say first about how the session is run.
Don't leave the webinar!
2. When the Session is ready to be kicked off, jump into any list that you want to work on in RiTA, and start making calls!

If you are in the flow with your calls, keep calling!
If you just had a bad call, and don't feel like picking up the phone, have a look at the scoreboard. The person at the top of the call scoreboard has probably had a bad call too, but they've moved onto the next contact - you can too!
RiTA will capture all of your RiTA activity during these sessions, and every 5 minutes, she'll update the scoreboard on the Group Session with activity from all of the attendees.
Don't worry, no contact details will be shared, she will only capture the calls made, calls connected, appointments made and properties added to your pipeline during the session.
Your Group Session host will let you know when the session has ended (make sure to keep the webinar open!), as well as summarise the results of the session
How do I join the Webinar?
1. Make sure you are viewing the details of the Group Session
2. Closer to the start time, the 'Join Webinar' link will be made available - simply click on the link and join the webinar

How do I cancel my registration for a session?
1. Make sure you are viewing the details of the Group Session
2. Click the 'Cancel Registration' button, just above the 'Join Webinar' button
RiTA will cancel your registration for you.
You'll know it's worked if you are able to 'Register' for the session again:
