When setting up an Email template you can Start with Action Template that has an Email Channel.
Step 1
Navigate to the action templates section.
We recommend duplicating any template and Relabelling it relevant to your email campaign. You can create a new template you will need to start completely from Scratch with no Columns or placeholder images.
To duplicate a Template click the 3 dots on the right then duplicate, then Relabel your template
Step 2
Click into the Template or select New template
You can edit the name of template
Who this template is available for Admin only or Selected users and Admin.
You have the options to restrict particular topics that use this template.
To restrict users from getting the email twice have the do not repeat option turned on.
Step 3
You can choose form Plain text or HTML
HTML has more design features and has the ability to create Action Buttons through our Email Builder.
Plain Text – Follows a traditional email format of a subject line and standard email body text.
Make sure the Email check box is selected on the option that you prefer.
Click on the word next to the check box to access the template field desired.
Click on "edit email"
From here you will be prompted into the email builder where you can get designing your email.
Step 4
To create emails it is easy to use our drag and Drop Sections.
Simply click with curser and drag the relevant item into the email preview.
Depending on your own email goals you can add what you feel is correct.
Adding headings or text
Drag a “Heading” into the editor.
Edit the content by clicking on the heading text.
On the right, you can edit things like Font and Size. Additionally, you can edit the Colour of the text.
To add “text” such as the main content follow the same steps.
Adding Images.
Recommended images sizes are 800x200 px
Image options.
- You have the option of using your own images by uploading.
- You can use Ai and find photos with your prompts.
- You can also use use our stock photos. Click on more images and then stock photos.
You can add image links in the action section.
Adding Buttons
Buttons are useful and can be tracked with analytics.
To add a button simply drag a button into the email
Edit the Label
Then add the relevant link
Adding Menu’s
Menus are great for adding extra links at the bottom of the email
Simply add new items edit the text
Then update the URL’s associated with the buttons.
Using Merge Fields,
Merge fields are used to pull Information that is variable.
You can add thing like “First name” into the body text to make it more personal.
Search for relevant merge field and click Copy,
And paste where relevant.
Adding HTML.
If you have HTML Templates or code to add click on HTML. And add code.
Adding Unsubscribe Link
This is mandatory. Simply add a text field. Copy the unsubscribe link and add it to the bottom of the email.
Step 5
Once done designing is complete Click save and Close.
Then Save.
Then Create Template
Then save the template.
You can send a test email to check out what I will look like.
You can now add the template into your Campaign.
