CoreLogic identifies and updates property records when a transaction is recorded against a property.
If you are about to list a property that is currently not on our database, it will be recorded and made available on RP Data once you have published the listing on the market. You do not have to submit a separate request to create a new property record.
If you are running a comparative market analysis and are unable to find a property record after using all possible search methods, you may submit a request to create a new property record.
- Search for the property that is the closest to your target property and use the Update Data button to submit a data update
- On the pop-up window, enter as much information as you can in the Additional details text box
- Upload a property image if you have one. Otherwise, an image from Google Street View (if available) will be used as the main image

You will receive an automated email confirmation to acknowledge that your request has been received. A follow-up email will usually be sent to you within 48 hours to inform you whether the property record can be created and the time frame for it to be available in RP Data.
The newly created property record will contain information that CoreLogic is able to identify and verify. It will likely contain the property’s legal description but not historical listing or sale information.
If the property is already available in RP Data, the team will direct you to the existing property record.
