Nearby Search and Map Searching are useful when you are unable to search for a property by address, or if you are appraising a property and need to gather local area insights. You may also access the Map Searching features after running an address, name, or parcel search.
Using Nearby Search
If you are in an unfamiliar location and wish to get some insights about properties in the surrounding area, tap on the Nearby Search button on the home screen. You may move the map around after you have launched the search.
Switch between the Map and Satellite view by tapping on the relevant options on the bottom left of the screen.

Tap on List to view properties as a list. Tap on Filters to apply filters and refine your search results.
Map Searching
Access the Map Searching features from your search results by tapping on the Map button at the bottom of the list view.

You may also access Map Searching features from a property detail screen by tapping on the Map button
Note: Tapping on the location pin will only show you the property on a map.

Tap on View Property on a Map to view the property on a map. Here, you will have the option to view similar properties by tapping on the Show similar properties toggle and ticking the relevant checkboxes to customise the data you wish to see.

Tapping on Map Search around this Property and Search for Similar Properties will allow you to view other properties in more detail. Tap on the dots to view additional property information.
- Grey dots represent off market properties
- Green dots represent properties which are For Rent
- Blue dots represent properties which are For Sale
- Red dots represent recently sold properties

After tapping on a property dot, you will be able to see more details about the selected property. The dot for your selected property will be filled in grey. The location pin indicates the target property. From here, you may:
- Tap on the property photo to view the property detail page
- Tap anywhere on the map to return to your map search results

- Tap on the List button to view map search results in a list view
- Tap on the Filters button to set filters for your map search results

Tip: Map searching is extremely helpful when dealing with properties that have two possible addresses (corner blocks) or rural residential/farming properties.
